This lovely and well-crafted punchneedle will serve you well to make rugs, wall hangings, furnishings and whatever else you care to try! This needle works best with worsted or sport weight wool. This needle will give you a short, .5 cm pile length. Do make sure you're using a medium to thick wool with a nice body. You will also need fabric to hook on - linen and cotton work well, burlap is popular because it is inexpensive. A frame is an enormous help (I mean it!), but in a pinch you can make your own out of tacks and clips and some sort of frame.
